National Exams for our 6th, 7th and 8th grade students

We are so proud of our 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students for doing so well on their National Exams!

The National Exams in Kenya are very important. They are educational exams that test core competencies on Math, Science, Reading, and English.

Students’ test score determines the school’s district ranking. We are currently #2 in the district and the only top performing school that accepts so many students from disadvantaged backgrounds. It also qualifies students for high school scholarships and determines what caliber of high school they will attend!

So as you can imagine the pressure is very high. Our students come in on Saturday mornings for months to prepare.

Our students rose to the challenge and their hard work paid off! They did amazing and we are so proud of them!

But one of the things the test does not show is a students character.  Daylight works really hard build young leaders of character, who embody servant leadership and integrity.

Our students are brilliant, smart, and they will bless this world with their lives.

Thank you to our teachers, staff, and our global partners who supported these brilliant young leaders.
