One Minute Update – a former Daylight Student

20 year old, Maxwell Kibet Kemboi (from Elgeyo Marakwet County)

Maxwell was a wonderfully dedicated primary student at Daylight!

In 2017 he ranked 5th in the National Examinations!

…Then, his dad tragically passed away — making it difficult for him to join high school.

Safaricom M-Pesa foundation sponsored Maxwell through high school – attending M-Pesa Foundation Academy.

Maxwell was active throughout high school despite the life challenges he underwent.

Maxwell recently joined the Software Engineering Programme team with ALX!

Also — he is attending Riara University in Nairobi, to pursue computer science!

Maxwell told the Daylight staff that Daylight School made him who he is today – and he is forever grateful for the opportunity.

Extra special note — He wants to sponsor Daylight students some day!

Congratulations Maxwell!

We look forward to hearing more about your exciting life journey.

The Daylight staff is proud of your accomplishments.
