At Daylight, Sunday is a special day, and a special girl.
Sunday is in 5th grade at Daylight School. She wants to climb mountains, specifically Mount Elgon, which she can see from the school. Sunday likes to play soccer and dance with her friends. Sunday has six sisters and two brothers, and Daylight helps her, and her siblings go to school.
Sunday dreams of becoming a doctor. In Kenya it often takes hours of travel to visit a doctor and can be very expensive for many of our student’s families. Inspiring our students to pursue their dreams and give back to their community is why we started Daylight School in 2007.
We want to make Sunday’s dreams possible.
